HELL'S HIGHWAY: An Air Force Combat Trucker Story
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt's Christopher Wiedmer and Daniel Clark talk about the bond forged between them serving with the last "Air Force Combat Truckers" during the 2011 Operation New Dawn drawdown, and withdraw from Iraq. Nearly one month before the last convoy left Iraq, Wiedmer was wounded when their truck hit an improvised explosive device. Now, five years later, they're stationed 4,000 miles apart but are connected by a link stronger than brotherhood. (Produced by Justin Connaher/673d Air Base Wing Public Affairs)
